Uninstalling Mindspark Toolbar

 To uninstall our toolbar from your Internet Explorer or Firefox web browser (for Chrome or Safari users, please skip to the relevant section below):

• Windows XP Users (IE or FF)
• Windows Vista Users (IE or FF)
• Windows 7 Users (IE or FF)
• Windows 8 Users (IE or FF)
• Google Chrome Users
• Safari Users
• Still having difficulty removing toolbar.  I need more help

Windows XP
1) From your computer's 'Start' button, select 'Settings', then 'Control Panel'
2) Double-click on 'Add/Remove Programs'
3) Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic Toolbar, CouponAlert Toolbar, Weatherblink Toolbar, etc).
4) Click 'Remove'.
5) You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar.

Windows Vista
1) From your computer's 'Start' button, select 'Control Panel'
2) Double-click on 'Programs and Features'    
3) Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic Toolbar, CouponAlert Toolbar, Weatherblink Toolbar, etc).
4) Click 'Remove'.
5) You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar.

Windows 7
1) From your computer's 'Start' button, select 'Control Panel'
2) Click the "Uninstall a Program" option found under the "Programs" category
3) Select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic Toolbar, CouponAlert Toolbar, Weatherblink Toolbar, etc).
4) Click "Remove."
5) You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar. 

Windows 8

1) Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then click "Search."
2) Enter "Uninstall" in the search box and then click the "Settings" category below the search box. 
3) Click "Uninstall a Program" from list on the left side of the screen.

4) From the "Program and Features" dialog box that opens, select the entry for the Toolbar that is installed on your computer.  The name will match what is displayed on your browser (example Filmfanatic Toolbar, CouponAlert Toolbar, Weatherblink Toolbar, etc).
5) Click "Uninstall".
6) You must reboot your computer to completely remove the toolbar. 

Google Chrome:

I'm still having difficulty removing the toolbar and need more help.

Firefox users:  If you do not see our toolbar listed in your computer's control panel (Add/Remove Programs, Uninstall Programs, etc) but the toolbar is still showing in your Firefox browser, please see our help article here:

Still seeing MyWebSearch.com or Ask.com on your browser?  If you are still seeing MyWebSearch.com or Ask.com after uninstalling our toolbar, it is likely that your browser's homepage has not yet been reset back to its previous setting.  For instructions on resetting your homepage, please click here.
